vPorter Turns Two!!
Toronto/October 29, 2009 – Today vPorter Airlines is celebrating its second anniversary since opening the virtual airline with the goal of mimicking the real world operations of Porter Airlines Inc. The virtual airline has logged over 1000 hours over the two year and has had over one hundred pilots come through the virtual airline.
“vPorter has provided flight simulator pilots with the same experience that airline employees would receive. We have also received and immense amount of support from our real world counterpart and the assistance has helped us enable our goal of providing this service to pilots,” said Daniel Gustin, president and CEO of vPorter Airlines. “Our virtual airline is growing by the day and we are becoming widely known in North American virtual aviation.”
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all pilots and team members that are currently with vPorter, as well as those that have shared this experience with us. The support received has grown this virtual airline into what it is today. Together we have proven that there is an interest in short-haul travel and flying.”
vPorter currently operates the Q400 fleet which has established itself as the benchmark for efficiency and style.
